In a recent dermatological trial at Amersham Hospital, MaxiMasque was tested on 32 women with normal skin, aged between 40 and 66 years.  Statistical analysis was carried out to compare hydration  and erythema  on facial skin before and after using the mask. The trial revealed that when the mask was used in conjunction with a moisturiser, the level of skin hydration was up to 59% higher than when moisturiser was used alone. 80% of participants agreed that using MaxiMasque improved the effectiveness of their usual beauty products and most women also reported increased skin softness, smoothness and firmness. Several felt that the appearance of their wrinkles had been reduced and found the experience of using the mask soothing and relaxing.
